Single Serving Sites archive
A tribute to the single-pagers that shaped web culture as we know it
I'm an '80s kid — I grew up with the internet and have spent years working in various corners of it. And still, the thing that gets me the most—both as a creator and as a user—is single serving sites (SSS): the Easter eggs of the web, creative bliss wrapped in HTML.
For years now, I’ve been collecting them. I even have a special bookmarks folder just for them.
One day, I swear, I’ll start a fund to support and preserve these wonders—many of which have already vanished. They’re the pillars of internet culture, the spark that gave the web its soul. And you know what happens to communities that forget their own history...
Until then, I’m sharing my SSS folder with you as an open archive. Got something to add? Please send it my way—I’d love to include it. Unlike almost everything else in reality, when it comes to SSS, there’s no such thing as too small, too obscure, or too weird. That’s the whole point.
Esoteric Truths & Facts
Single-serving answers to very specific questions: is it Christmas? Are we at war? How many humans are currently in space?

Visual & Sensory Experiments
Interactive, animated, or just beautifully strange—these are some of the internet’s most unexpectedly beautiful corners. Sites explore motion, rhythm, and color in playful or meditative ways

Tiny Tools
From color palettes to lorem ipsum generators, these micro-tools do one thing well—and fast.

Meta-Web & Web Biography
Pages that reflect on the structure of the internet itself—first pages, last pages, status jokes, nostalgic artifacts, and everything in between.

Absurd, Nonsens & Proudly Untranslatable
Sites that deliver one punchline, perfectly timed. Whether it’s Obama as your new bicycle or a page that turns your screen yellow, these are digital jokes distilled to their purest form.

Conceptual, Artistic, or Personal Projects
One-off creative expressions, often poetic or strange. Sometimes useful, always intentional.
